My Review on Seda Hotel in Davao City

I thought I was going to give this hotel a rate of 10/10 but I changed my mind.

Upon checked in, everyone welcomed me with a smile. Everyone was nice and made sure that I have been taken care of.

The lobby was cozy. This hotel is kind of small but I liked it that security wise, it is safe here because the elevator doesn't work without a key card which reminds me of most of the hotels in US

When I opened my room, I fell in love with it right away!  I did not have a picture of it though. But I took a picture of the toiletries, pen and a pair of slippers though. Hahaha! Yep, I was not really thinking that time.

I had complimentary breakfast so I went to their breakfast buffet at the ground floor by the hotel registration. There were so many foods to choose from but I only ate green salad!  Who would want to eat green salad for breakfast? Hahaha! I know, right? I was with Bong Javier, my late friend Vanessa's husband and we were going to visit Vanessa's tombstone afterwards.

What I loved the most about this Seda Hotel was, the Abreeza Mall is few feet away only! I had lots of plan to do in the mall like getting my hair done and get some facial but I only had done few stuff because my time was very limited.

It was almost a perfect stay until my last night. The front desk called to confirm my very early check out time the following day and to confirm what time do I need the shuttle, asked me how am I liking my stay and if I needed a wake up call. I am like, "This is awesome! Yes, I do need a wake up call! I need a wake up call at 3:00am and I need the shuttle at 3:30am. We hung up. After a minute or two, the phone rang again.

It was the same girl. She was like, "Ma'am, what was the time of your flight po tomorrow?"  "Are you sure you want to go to the airport that early po?" "You would get bored at the airport po". So I got convinced to change the shuttle ride to 4:00am. "The wake up call is still the same, at 3:00 o'clock, right ma'am?" I said, "Yes, please and thank you".

I set my alarm on my phone anyway.

I woke up at 2:00am. I took a shower and was ready to go. The clock says 3:00am but no wake up call. It was 3:30am when I called the front desk. I was pissed. "I supposed to get a wake up call at 3:00am but I never got one. And it was not I who asked for it, you guys offered."

Of course, the staff apologized. I was pissed because, what if I partied, got drunk and went to bed late?

Anyway, that's the reason why I am not giving them a 10/10 rate. I would say, 7/10, which is not bad right?

But really, I would like to come back and stay here again on my next trip to the Philippines. I sure will give them another chance.

Thank you for visiting my blog!

Have a good one!
